Privacy Policy

The Kitchen Resprayer runs this website (www.thekitchenresprayer.co.uk) and resprays kitchens. You send us details and photos of your kitchen, and we use them to quote you and, if you go ahead, to do the job.

We are the data controller for the personal data you give us through this website. Questions about your data: email hello@thekitchenresprayer.co.uk.

When you ask for a quote:

• your name, phone number and postcode
• your email address, if you choose to give it
• what your kitchen doors are made of
• up to two photos of your kitchen
• which button on the site you pressed to open the form

Please keep people, house numbers and anything else personal out of your photos. A picture of the cupboards is all that is needed.

We also count how the site is used (pages viewed, buttons pressed) without cookies and without your contact details. See section 5.

We use your details to quote you, to contact you about the quote and, if you book, to plan and carry out the work. The legal basis is that you asked us to, so we can take steps towards a contract you want and then perform it (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

We do not sell your details, put you on a mailing list or send you marketing.

If a subcontractor carries out work on our behalf, we share with them only what they need to do that job, such as your name, address, phone number and photos of your kitchen. They may use it only for our work, and not for their own purposes.

We also use service providers who handle data on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the quote form, and PostHog, which counts site visits without identifying you.

This site does not set cookies. Our visit counting runs in a mode that stores nothing on your device and never records your name, email, phone number or postcode, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Our service providers may store data outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Union. Where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.

If you don't book, we keep your quote request, photos included, for up to 12 months after we last hear from you, then delete it. If you do book, we keep the job records for as long as we need them for any guarantee and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Ask us to delete a quote request sooner and we will.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@thekitchenresprayer.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
